HumanType is a desktop text automation tool. Privacy is a core design principle — the application runs entirely on your machine, and we collect only the minimum data necessary to process payments and deliver your license.
Data we collect
Email address — provided during purchase or optionally when downloading the free version. Used to deliver your license key, respond to support requests, and — if you provide it on the free download — to send you product updates and special offers.
Hardware fingerprint — a one-way hash (SHA-256) of your machine identifier, generated during license activation. Used solely to enforce the 3-device activation limit. We cannot reverse this hash to identify your hardware.
Payment data — payment processing is handled entirely by NOWPayments. We do not store credit card numbers, wallet addresses, or transaction details beyond what is necessary to link a payment to your order.
